We have existed as a flight school since 1987 and are located in modern premises at Breda Airport. Our location is on the south side of the airport at Breda Airparc. The flight school is a certified ATO and provides all possible flight training. From sport pilot to commercial pilot and from instructor to examiner. Breda Aviation also offers trial lessons and aircraft hire. Our core values are professionalism, quality and safety. We combine this with a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. At Breda Aviation it is informal, open and friendly. We are open 7 days a week, the coffee is always ready and you are welcome to drop by.
Marcia and Herman Hendriks have been running the flight school at Breda International Airport, or for most, just Seppe Airport, since 2008. Marcia says: "I practically grew up here. My family ran the catering business, my father jumped parachutes and as a teenager I worked behind the flight school counter. Herman started as a hobby pilot in the 1990s but became so infected with the "flying virus" that he completed his vocational training in a short time and then became a flight instructor. He literally made his hobby his profession. Now we own Breda Aviation'
Marcia and Herman have a clear division of labour. Herman is a flight instructor and the technical brain so he deals with the 'airside' of the company. Marcia is originally a management assistant and is responsible for the management activities within the flight school, or 'landside'.
Above all, flying is fun, and anyone with a passion for flying can learn it. Besides quality and professionalism, the team at Breda Aviation finds it especially important that customers feel welcome and that everyone goes home with a big smile on their face.
