If you already hold a licence, you can also rent a plane from us. Of course, you can also continue to learn as a pilot. Our pilots consist of a group of enthusiastic people who tour together, chat in our always cosy coffee corner and share their passion for flying. In addition, we regularly organise knowledge sessions to make sure we all fly safely and well-informed.
Flying with Breda Aviation also gives you automatic access to our online system BredaPedia. This system contains all information about our company, our fleet and our training courses. BredaPedia also records your digital logbook and allows you to book an aircraft online, view your flight schedule and check your financial status. In short: you have full access to your own account.
Our fleet consists of Aquila's and Tecnam's equipped with state-of-the-art avionics. With us, you can digitally book a plane on your own. Since we have a fairly large fleet, you can often quickly find a suitable time slot for a flight. The booking itself is easily done via BredaPedia, our digital platform.
Rentals can be made after check-out: To rent, you must first have done a check-out on the type of aircraft. Of course, you must also hold a valid medical and a pilot's licence with valid rating. Once the check-out is done, you can immediately rent this type of aircraft. With us, a check-out consists of a theoretical explanation of the aircraft and, depending on previous experience, an x number of hours of flying.
In possession of an FAA licence or conversion to EASA? At Breda Aviation, we can FAA Bi-annual decrease and your FAA licence is up to date again. It is also possible to convert to an EASA licence.
We work with packages of hours which means you receive attractive discounts on the hourly rate. In addition, each package includes one hour of free instruction. So you can always choose to take an instructor with you if weather conditions are outside your limits or for your training flight.
We schedule several dates a year for the tour rides you can sign up for. Here we have short tours of a day but we also fly longer tours. Some destinations are fixed in advance, sometimes where we fly to is only decided a few days in advance. The main reason is the variety of weather.
Both student pilots and licence holders can participate in the tours: Every tour will be accompanied by a guide from Breda Aviation to make sure everything runs smoothly. To divide the costs as fairly as possible, you only pay for your own flight. The remaining accommodation and landing fees are shared among the participants.
Every year, we have several recurrency evenings with various topics focusing on recent developments and TEM (Threat & Error Management). A recurrency is held 8 times a year and changes every six months. So you have 4 opportunities to attend the training within six months. Not only a good time to reflect on aviation safety, but also a great time to meet other pilots and catch up together and share experiences.
These recurrency training sessions take place in the evening in our classroom at Breda Aviation.
They start at 19:30 and end around 22:00.
As a flight school, we have a wide range of courses you can take to broaden your horizons further. Besides the well-known courses focused on Instrument flying (IR), Night flying (NR) and Commercial flying (CPL & ATPL), you can also get your instructional qualification (FI) and even become an examiner (FE) with us.
Has your SEP or MEP expired or do you need to renew it and are you looking for a flight school that will professionally guide you through your pro check? Then you have come to the right place at Breda Aviation. We have a long-standing partnership with KIWA and IL&T, among others, and therefore have the right contacts. We provide suitable training courses for you and a customised programme is no problem either. Naturally, we will relieve you of your worries by taking care of the administrative processing with Kiwa, among others. In short, we take care of it!
If you do not yet have a certificate of competency for the SEP and/or MEP ratings but have a licence (LAPL/PPL or CPL/ATPL), we can arrange this for you through a personal training plan.
