Breda Aviation has developed its own training, based on the MCC but adapted to requirements in General Aviation where only one pilot can be responsible for the operation: the Pilot In Command (PIC). The training has therefore been named Multi Pilot Concept - General Aviation (MPC-GA).
Licensed pilots regularly take to the skies together. During tours, licensed pilots also sit next to student pilots. In both cases, this not only enhances conviviality, but also provides opportunities to learn from each other.
Every flight may present special circumstances, an increased workload or you may be faced with new, unfamiliar situations. In "Big Aviation", a concept has been developed through which cooperation and division of labour in the cockpit leads to greatly increased safety. This way of working is called Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC).
This training consists of a theory part where you learn how communication between people works and how to improve it. You will also learn a lot about the human factors of working together but certainly also how these can be used in a positive way in the cockpit.
Together with another pilot, you will mainly work on workload management in the cockpit. This is crucial and as a team it works more safely, efficiently and enjoyably. Theory and simulation both contribute to a safer and more enjoyable joint experience.
Who can register: The training is open to everyone. However, we do impose a minimum experience requirement for the training to be effective. As a certified pilot, you can enrol without further ado. If you are a student pilot, you must have completed the navigation and theory subjects Communication and Airlaw.
If you're all set, you can of course register straight away. Still have questions? Take a look at our FAQ page or contact us, we will be happy to help.
