Absolutely! Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you get the chance to fly the plane yourself. This includes performing basic manoeuvres such as making turns and changing altitude. The instructor remains responsible at all times and can intervene if necessary, ensuring safety.
Breda Aviation's test flights depart from Breda International Airport (Seppe Airport), but the exact route of the flight can vary. They often fly over the West Brabant region, where you may have views of Breda, Roosendaal, Bergen op Zoom or even towards Zeeland, among others. The route is tailored to weather, air traffic and - where possible - your personal preference.
Do you have a specific location you would like to fly over (such as your hometown or a recognisable area)? Feel free to indicate it before the flight. The instructor will then check if it fits within the safe and permitted flight areas. This will make your trial lesson not only educational, but also extra personal and memorable.

The trial lesson will be flown in a 2-seater aircraft (Aquila). It is therefore not possible to take passengers with you.
During the trial lesson, the focus is on your experience and learning process as an aspiring pilot. For this reason, it is not possible to take additional passengers on the flight. This ensures that the instructor can fully focus on your guidance and safety.
A trial lesson is intended as an introduction to flying, with no further obligations - ideal as an experience or gift. A first flying lesson on the other hand, is the official start of a flight training course. Both take place with an instructor, but the approach is different.

Basically, your CPL training starts with obtaining your PPL (Private Pilot Licence). We use the Aquila A211 for this purpose. This is a modern two-seater in which all PPL practice can be flown. This low-decker is equipped with modern avionics and a spacious open cockpit.
Apart from this, there is also the option to get your PPL on the Tecnam P2010. This is a very complete and modern high-decker. This aircraft is also used for the Instrument Rating (IR) part of the CPL training.
