Do you have extensive experience in piloting aircraft and would like to pass on your knowledge and experience to others? Then take the next step in your flying career and become a flight instructor.
This course not only requires you to have good flying skills, but also the correct and clear communication of information is a skill that is highly developed in this course. In short: a huge enrichment of your experience.

During this course, you will be trained to become an FI (Flight Instructor). Being a flight instructor is about teaching someone something and that learning is what we teach you in our training. For this reason, you will first work on theory to lay a solid foundation before taking to the air with a 'student'. You will also sit in the right seat in the cockpit instead of the left one. This gives a new and different perspective on flying. You will experience all this for yourself and you will experience what it is like to transfer your knowledge and skills to another person.
After obtaining your FI, you can continue learning to also teach Instrument Rating or as a Class Rating Instructor (ME).

Besides practical lessons, time is also spent on theory lessons during the Flight Instructor (FI) course. During theory, you will receive a minimum of 125 hours of theory and lessons in subjects such as:
Classes are held at Breda Aviation's location.
For our CPL/ATPL theory, we work with Distance learning. We partner with Orbit Groundschool for this purpose. Orbit Groundschool has an online system based on BSG (Bristol Ground School). In which, through Orbit Groundschool, you take the Progress Test (PT) remotely and follow an on-line brushup. Once you have successfully completed the PT and the Bruschup, you can take exams on site at Orbit Groundschool through Austro Control.
In addition, it is also possible not to take the exams at Austro Control, but to take your exam at the CBR
If you're all set, you can of course register straight away. Still have questions? Take a look at our FAQ page or contact us, we will be happy to help.
For Flight Instructor training, we use the Aquila A211. This is a modern two-seater that can be used for all practical flying. This low-decker is equipped with modern Avionics and a spacious open cockpit.
Apart from this, there is also the option to get your FI on the Tecnam P2010. This is a very complete and modern high-decker. This aircraft is also used for the Instrument Rating (IR) part of the ATPL training.
